Phillip Woody is originally from South Carolina and enlisted in the Marine Corps to escape from poverty.

From the enlisted ranks, Phillip ascended to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and had the privilege of being the Commanding Officer of Marine Wing Support Squardon-371 at the Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, Arizona. During his more than 30 years of active duty service, Phillip served around the world. As The Marine’s Hymn says, in every clime and place.

Phillip authored a book titled, “Color Blind”. His most valued lesson of failure is discussed in the book. This very passionate story will give the full range of emotions from belly laughing, lump in your throat and tears as you listen to how he stumbled and faltered as a leader. The most important lesson you will learn is how not to make the same mistakes. Through the ultimate sacrifice of another, Phillip is continuing to learn how to be a better leader, manager, and person.
